Don’t worry if you do not know your English level. Before starting your course, you will be given a short placement test. That way we can make sure join a class at the right level.



COURSE DESCRIPTION


Zoni Language Centers offers students innovative exam preparation courses for the TOEFL iBT, IELTS and Cambridge exams.


Our courses focus on the strategies and specific skills needed to successfully take your chosen exam. This includes lectures and practice exams held under real test conditions. An exam preparation course can either be taken on its own, or as part of an academic year.


Further to lectures and practice exams, our preparation courses will also help you improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing.


We currently offer exam preparation for IELTS, TOEFL iBT and Cambridge (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE).These courses are offered on campus via Zoni Language Centers, or Online through the Virtual Presence Program (VPP) by Zoni Institute.


For many of our courses, you can choose class times to fit your schedule. Please check the schedule carefully. These classes are not on-demand, meaning you must log-in to the virtual school at set class times. If you miss a class, you will be marked as absent.

COURSE TEACHERS


You will be taught by one of our highly qualified and experienced English teachers. All of our teachers have college degrees, an English teaching qualification and many years of experience. On top of this, our teachers are specially trained in virtual teaching and are able to make sure you are a fully integrated member of the class.

COURSE PROGRAM

The TOEFL iBT measures the English language skills of non-native English speakers. Colleges and universities require proof of English language proficiency at admission. The TOEFL iBT preparation course focuses on effective techniques and strategies for taking the Internet-based test (iBT). This includes practice tests with integrated speaking, listening, reading and writing tasks. In addition, students study grammar, build their vocabulary, learn idiomatic expressions and practice pronunciation.

This course is designed to prepare students to pass the Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE), the Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE) and the Cambridge Proficiency Exam (CPE). These exams are internationally recognized for work, study and travel abroad.
The Cambridge preparation course includes strategies and techniques for each of the 5 components of the test – listening, speaking, reading, writing and use of English. This course also helps students to rapidly improve vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.

This course helps students to develop the skills and strategies needed to pass the IELTS exam. There are four parts to the IELTS exam: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. All students take the same Listening and Speaking exams, while the Reading and Writing parts are available in both Academic and General formats.
The Academic Reading and Writing exam assess whether a student is able to study a course taught in English. The General exam looks at basic English skills in broad social and educational contexts.
The General exam suits students who are going to English-speaking countries for work, non-degree level training or immigration. The course includes vocabulary, grammar, skill-building and exam practice. It consists of four modules with corresponding exercises, tasks and practice tests.
